Announcing Architecture By Children 2011: SACRED SPACES Sacred Spaces are religious, secular, informative, memorial, intimate, and monumental. Sacred Spaces delight the senses, lift the soul, and connect us to ideas outside ourselves. They can bridge understanding between peoples and events long past, focus attention on our inner selves, and inspire dreams for the future. For the 2011 Architecture By Children project, students will be challenged to design a sacred space for a real client on a real site. SAVE THESE DATES: August 1, 2010 - Registration Open ABC Registration will again be available online. Past-teachers will also receive forms in the mail. ABC is open to all educators in the Greater Cincinnati Area. The program is kept free of charge thanks to the Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati, AIA Ohio, in-kind donations, and sponsorships from local architecture firms and businesses. Register after April 1 at: www.architecturebychildren.org
