AFC hosts talk by Dr. James Crump December 6

Dr. James Crump will speak at the Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati on Monday, December 6, at noon. His talk, “The intersection of art, architecture, and photography,” will reference examples in the current exhibition. “Wright Panorama: Photographs by Thomas R. Schiff.”

The Architectural Foundation Gallery is at 811 Race Street.  Dr. Crump’s talk is free and open to the public.  Brown bags welcome.  

Crump is Chief Curator and Curator and Department Head of Photography for the Cincinnati Art Museum.  In September 2009, Skira Rizzoli released Dr. Crump's Variety: Photographs by Nan Goldin, which Photo District News deemed one of the notable photography books of the year His latest book, Walker Evans: Decade by Decade. (Hatje Cantz, 2010), was named one of the top ten nonfiction books of the year by Library Journal.
 

Schiff’s latest book, Wright Panorama, contains his panoramic photographs of iconic buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright. The AFC exhibition featured selections from the book, including Ohio examples.
