AFC is very proud to honor John F. Barrett with the prestigious Alice and Harris Weston Apple Award.
John is one of our community's most active and steadfast advocates for the built environment, economic development, health care and the arts.
 
The Apple Award Gala is the major benefit for the Architectural Foundation's nationally acclaimed education and outreach program, Architecture by Children. This program brings children, teachers and professionals together in classrooms throughout the community, stimulating their interest in and knowledge of Architecture. In 2011, ABC will serve approximately 1300 students, grades 2 – 12 in more than 60 classrooms in 41 schools.
